On World Environment Day (June 5th), AB InBev China's Foshan facility celebrated a landmark achievement. The event drew prominent attendees including Foshan Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor Bai Tao, AB InBev APAC's newly appointed CEO and Co-Chair Cheng Yanjun, and ORG Technology's Vice President and General Manager of Two-piece Can and Filling Division, Ma Binyun. The gathering marked the launch of the "AB InBev China Decarbonization Alliance". ORG Technology, a key supplier to AB InBev, joined other industry leaders like Guangdong Jiaduobao in inaugurating the alliance and introducing the "Sanshui Green Energy-Saving Ecosystem Initiative". This program represents a shift from individual sustainbility efforts to a coordinated, industrial-park-wide environmental program, positioning ORG as a central architect in developing this sustainable industrial ecosystem.

Evolving from Strategic Partner to Alliance Key Player
According to AB InBev APAC's Chief Supply Chain Officer Pang Weizhen, the alliance represents a "crucial milestone" in their journey toward achieving net-zero emissions throughout their value chain by 2040.
As a strategic partner, ORG Technology has taken on three key roles in this initiative:
Initiative Pioneer: Collaborating with AB InBev and Jiaduobao to develop innovative solutions, including shared green electricity and steam supply.
Technology Innovation Leader: Implementing lightweight aluminum can technology in AB InBev's supply chain and increasing recycled material usage.
Data Collaboration Champion: Completing carbon baseline verification through AB InBev's "Eclipse Program" and becoming one of the first packaging companies to join the supply chain carbon management platform, enabling full transparency of packaging lifecycle carbon footprint.

The Sanshui Initiative: Setting New Standards in Industrial Park Decarbonization
As a core initiator, ORG Technology is spearheading collaborative innovation in Sanshui Industrial Park through four key initiatives:
Green Power Exchange: Facilitating inter-company green power trading
Centralized Steam Network: Developing a shared, eco-friendly steam supply system
Solar Infrastructure: Implementing distributed rooftop solar photovoltaic networks
Energy Efficiency: Deploying shared smart energy management systems to optimize overall power consumption

Advancing Green Technology Collaboration
The Decarbonization Alliance marks a new chapter in partnership development:
Technology Access: Opening smart factory energy management platforms to industrial park members and establishing industry standards for "zero-carbon packaging"
Renewable Energy Transition: Fast-tracking 100% renewable power adoption at ORG's Sanshui facility
Ecosystem Expansion: AB InBev plans to replicate the Sanshui model across its national network of carbon-neutral facilities, creating interconnected green supply chains

Jan Clysner, Vice President of Procurement & Sustainablity at AB InBev APAC, commented: "Our collaborative partnership has been instrumental in reaching these significant milestones. The deep commitment from partners like ORG has transformed our value chain carbon reduction goals from aspiration to achievement."
Key Battle in Tackling Scope 3 Emissions
With value chain (Scope 3) emissions representing two-thirds of AB InBev's total carbon footprint, ORG's decarbonization initiatives play a vital role in achieving net-zero targets. Through the alliance, AB InBev is equipping suppliers with advanced carbon management tools, green power resources, and innovative technologies. ORG leads these efforts by:
Setting new industry standards for carbon reduction through lightweight aluminum can production
Achieving 40% cost reduction in product carbon footprint certification via the supply chain carbon platform
Implementing shared energy management systems projected to generate 3 million yuan in annual savings for industrial park members
Pursuing a Green Manufacturing Future
"Sustainability isn't just an initiative—it's central to our business strategy, with supply chain transformation being the key battleground," states Pang. Since AB InBev announced its sustainability goals in 2018, ORG has been deeply involved in both the Strategic Supplier Alliance (SSA) and carbon management platform initiatives. The Decarbonization Alliance will further advance these efforts by:
Integrating ESG responsibilities across the entire industrial chain
Engaging over 30 core suppliers in developing green supply networks
Expanding the successful Sanshui model to industrial clusters nationwide

This World Environment Day marks ORG's evolution into a triple-role sustainability partner in AB InBev's net-zero journey. From optimizing individual aluminum can carbon footprints to reimagining industrial park energy systems, ORG demonstrates that effective decarbonization requires collaborative action across the entire value chain.
